CERAMICS
mima’s British Ceramic Art collection is a seminal collection of more than 250
items by approximately ninety internationally recognised ceramists. The collection charts
the development of the Studio Pottery movement from the early 20th Century through to the
present day.
The growing collection also contains works in clay by makers and artists not traditionally associated with this media.
The collection includes key pieces by Lucie Rie, Hans Coper, Martin Smith, James Tower, Walter Keeler and Alison Britton among others.
