23 November 2007 - 17 February 2008
Photo: Hans Engels, Ring Housing Estate, Siemensstadt in Berlin, 1929, Architect: Fred Forbat

Bauhaus architecture developed in Germany in the 1920s and later in the USA, in the 1930s, with architect Walter Gropius as its founding father. In 2001, Hans Engels documented all the known and remaining, original Bauhaus architecture. His photographs feature buildings designed by the masters, teachers and students of Bauhaus, many of which have been restored, converted and occasionally forgotten.
