Join us for a performance by musician Merz to celebrate the closure of British artist Basil Beattie’s exhibition When Now Becomes Then: Three Decades. Taking place throughout the ground floor galleries, Merz selects songs from his repertoire that allude to Beattie’s paintings both from a visual and spiritual point of view. Merz (Conrad Lambert) is an experimental, multi-instrumentalist whose style ranges from acoustic pop to electronic psychedelia.
